Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you create a Talli account, we use Supabase, our authentication and backend service provider, to store your email address and manage your login credentials. We do not have access to your plaintext password.
• Store and business information. Information you enter about your store or business, such as a store name or store number, is stored so it can be associated with your inventory records.
• Inventory and count information. Talli generates and stores inventory records created through your use of the app, including item counts, weights, and completed count sheets.
• Bluetooth access. Talli requests Bluetooth permission on your device so it can connect to and communicate with compatible Bluetooth scales. Bluetooth access is used only to send and receive data with a scale you choose to connect.
• Technical and service information. We collect basic technical information necessary to operate, maintain, and secure the Service, such as authentication tokens, device and app version information, and error or diagnostic logs.

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Talli Service;
• Authenticate your account and keep your account and inventory data secure;
• Generate inventory results and Talli Inventory Count Sheets based on the counts and weights you and your team enter;
• Respond to support requests you send us; and
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising or third-party tracking, and we have not built any advertising or tracking systems into Talli.

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate Talli, including Supabase for authentication and backend data storage, and infrastructure providers that host and deliver the Service. These providers process information on our behalf and only as necessary to provide their services to us. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We retain account, store, and inventory information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the Service to you. If you close your account, we will delete or de-identify your information within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we collect, including relying on Supabase's authentication and database security features. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Talli is intended for use by restaurant employees and operators and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

You may access, update, or correct certain account information directly within the Talli app. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and our legitimate business and legal needs.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Talli after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
